Ntshangase was born in Swaziland in 1987 at a place called Mahamba. He was born into a
family of three (Mthobisi, Nontsikelelo and Ayanda). Mthobisi Ntshangase was raised by his
mother Bongiwe Zwane Ntshangase after his father's death in 1998. Mthobisi commenced
his schooling at Mahamba primary school, he had to change scenery and moved to
Nyamane High School where he obtained his O' level. He was gripped by the love of music,
and he relocated to Manzini, where he joined Gumedze and the Gospel Warriors as a
keyboardist, dazzling the ivories with his musical prowess that he had fans eating out of his
hand. Versatile in his chosen career and communicating with those in his big league,
Mthobisi met late Dennis Bothma in 2007 in Manzini, Swaziland, where Bothma had his own
studio called master waves at Tiger city. Bothma was taken up by Mthobisi's talent of
producing music. Bothma introduced the producer to studio work. In the same 2007
Mthobisi reconnected with Reverend Gumedze of the Gumedze and the Gospel Warriors in
Manzini, Mthobisi was then a full time keyboard player. In 2008 they did a project called
Lengane le at Dennis Bothma's Master Wave Studios. A number of Swazi artists like Frans
Dlamini, Lavundlamanti Gospel Group, just to name a few, came to the fore and worked in

released his own album, titled "Higer Higher' which sold like hot cakes, especially on I-tunes.
